Adrian completed his science degree with a major in nutrition at the University Of Canberra in Australia in 1997. Since completing this degree, he has completed a Masters of Science in Human Performance and Health Promotion and a Masters in Physiotherapy Studies from the University of Queensland in Australia. Adrian has studied under many of the worlds most respected physiotherapists including Dr Gwen Jull (Former Head of the Australian Physiotherapy Association), Dr Bill Vincenzino (head of the Sports Physiotherapy programme at the School of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in Australia), Dr Paul Hodges an expert in the physiology of spinal pain and one of the worlds leading researchers in this field, Carolyn Richardson and Dr Julie Hides who developed the use of diagnostic ultrasound in the management of low back pain, Dr Michelle Stirling who runs the Spinal Injury and Whiplash research clinic at the University of Queensland and is a specialist in the area of spinal injury and pain. Adrian has been working in the field of exercise, nutrition and rehabilitation for over ten years. Adrian has consulted for the Broadgate Spine Centre in London and has completed further training in Active Release Techniques, Clinical Pilates and has recently completed further training based on the PhD work of those involved in the European Space Agency's Berlin Bed Rest Study. Part of this study focused on the the assessment and management of hip dysfunction and is particularly relevant for the non operative management of Osteoarthritis and labral injuries of the hip. Adrian is currently completing a Masters in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy through Griffith University in Australia. This will allow him to become a titled sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapst with the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Adrian specialises in the treatment and prevention of sports and musculoskeletal injuries. He is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Australian Physiotherapy Association, Association of Charted Physiotherapists In Sports Medicine and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (USA). Adrian specialises in the management and prevention of a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries with his main area of interest being the prescription of clinical exercise and nutrition for rehabilitation and performance.
